Brief Bio
The Rev. Dr. Pamela
Feeser grew up in the Pennyslvania Dutch community of
Hanover,
PA.
Having grown up with such a rich religious background, her
relationship with her Creator has always been the center of her very
being. She began her
professional career as a Director of Music in both churches and
public/private schools with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education.
Having heard her calling into the ordained ministry, she
completed her Master of Divinity Degree at
Emory
University.
Dr. Feeser was ordained by the Florida Conference of the
United
Methodist
Church.
Following a decade of serving local congregations and communities
Dr. Feeser continued her education with a Doctor of Ministry
concentrating on the Ministry of Domestic Violence from
Florida
Center
for Theological Studies.
Today Dr. Feeser continues her ministry to her Upper Keys Community as
the Director of Community Health Ministries, a program of the Pastoral
Care department of Baptist Health South Florida in addition to her work
equipping community leaders to be proactive against domestic violence.
Dr. Feeser also serves as adjunct teacher at several local
colleges in Religion and Ethics.
As Dr. Feeser has
experienced lifes many challenges and gifts, she has become increasingly
centered on her relationship with her Creator, Triune God, One who loved
her into being. The most
important lesson that she has learned through living life faithfully, is
that there is nothing in this world or life that can ever come between
her and her relationship with God except for herself.
Spirituality is absolutely the most imperative aspect of every
person's life. Each
person's relationship with the Holy Divinity can not be replaced by
anything else.
Living in the
Florida Keys,
Dr. Feeser can easily be found either communing with God and nature in
her backyard hammock, walking a nearby labyrinth, spending quality time
with her family and friends, or serving her neighbors.
Dr. Feeser has often said that for her, there is nothing more
sacred than water. Living
on an island, surrounded by water all day every day with her Creator and
blessed companions is the greatest joy of her living.
